Children's Christmas Party Sat. 6th Dec. - well attended, lots of enjoyment. Santa presented each child with a present.
4 bike racks have been installed, front of the Village Hall - a Parish Council/Village Hall project completed.
Car park extension: GYBC planning meeting 21 st January 2026
Portacabins repainting - Bowls Club portacabin front due Spring 2026. Thanks to Filby Wanderers FC for their efforts.
Football pitch - After the car park extension is resolved, the kickabout area will also be improved.
CCTV and lighting will be installed at the rear of the Hall.
The Main Hall, plus Celia Boon Room, are available to hire for parties, meetings and community events. Free WiFi is available on site. The adjacent large playing field and children's play area allow plenty of room for family fun and sporting activities.
We can cater for all kinds of parties and events and are happy to work with our hirers to ensure that a memorable time is had by all. The sound system installed in the Main Hall includes Bluetooth capacity and a stage is also available.

Hiring options
The Main Hall can accomodate 130 people seated at tables and the Celia Boon Room can take 35 people seated at tables.
A closely seated audience of 250 is possible in the Main Hall and up to 310 for dancing only, with all furniture removed.
